In 1995 God led Phillip to move from GA to MI to join a Revival Ministry, believing God would bring authentic Christian living to individuals. Through various support roles, God has emphasized the biblical truth that followers of Christ are part of the BODY of Christ. Passages like 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4 remind us that we are one body with many members, each with a God-given assignment to serve “as unto the Lord.” Phillip is called to serve in supportive, behind-the-scenes roles and now serves as Operations Director for OneCry Global Ministries.


Phillip met Michele Haynes (from Moncks Corner, SC) in 1999 and, after a “scare” that they might be related (ask them sometime), they were married in 2000. They have four grown children: Caleb, Daniel, Rebekah, and Lydia.
