James Pool - OneCry Baylor

I was blessed to be among the five pastors invited by Byron Paulus to discuss what later became OneCry. Seeing prayer mobilization as the role God was calling me toward, it was easy to become the National Prayer Director of OneCry when it was established. In 2017, God led me to take what He had given me spiritually and share it with college students. That led to the establishment of OneCry for Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where I became and remain the founding sponsor.

James's life verse is Galatians 2:20

When receiving goods or services with a donation, your charitable deduction is limited to the amount in excess of the fair market value of the goods or services provided. In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines, OneCry maintains discretion and sole control over the use of all donated funds once a tax-deductible receipt is issued. In practice, OneCry honors the donor’s request for any of the recommended designations. In rare cases when that is not possible, gifts will be used Where Needed Most. Therefore, donors explicitly release OneCry from any restrictions on how those funds are spent.
